What time does the comedy act start? And is it a two drink minimum?

Michelle

LOL! Sorry don't mean to laugh but if I gave my husband a copy of one of my posts, he would edit it too complete with red pen!

The chicken sounds wonderful.

HappyTummy

that dish looks fantastic! you're very lucky to have a honey who cooks. my hubby is a disaster in the kitchen :) i guess i don't really mind too much, though, since i love to cook and can have the kitchen all to myself!

Maria

Don't you love being spoiled by your hubby? I always enjoy it when my Joshua cooks. He is great in the kitchen. We are lucky gals. Jack did a fabulous job here! I really want to read that book. I already have it on hold at the library, thanks for the suggestion!

lisaiscooking

That's great that you both enjoy cooking. This meal looks amazing. White beans are so delicious.

There is nothing sexier than a man who cooks.

Mark Bittman has a great recipe for simple white beans and shrimp. You can use those little frozen shrimp, but basically you just cook your beans as you did, then add some shrimp and the juice of half a lemon. It's perfect and great on toast, etc.

Natasha - 5 Star Foodie

Wow, your boyfriend is a great cook! This dish looks delicious! My husband is a big foodie and a critic but can't cook at all and I would not let him anywhere near my kitchen :)

Maria

I am back, I realized I called Jack your hubby, oops...I meant boyfriend:)

I have this cookbook and really should use it more. I've only made the polenta (delicious) and the pancakes (the best I've made). I'm like you though where I tend to follow recipes by the letter. I'm getting a little better, but who knows?

Melissa

You're a blogging machine lately, Teanna! This sounds like a great dish... I mean... it sounds awful! And I totally hate it when my hubby is better at something than I am. :-)

Tracey

I am jealous that your boyfriend cooks. My husband makes a great mac and cheese (from the box) but that's about it... I also follow recipes most of the time but I wish I could get more creative.

Shari

You're so lucky to share this passion for food together! Funny post too!

We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives.
